The Rogers Park Neighborhood Choir rehearses twice weekly at Saint Scholastica Academy (7416 North Ridge Avenue). Saint Scholastica Academy educates young women by attending to the development of the whole person through emphasis on critical thinking, moral responsibility and lifelong learning.

Since 1991, the Rogers Park Neighborhood Choir has served boys and girls from ten different communities in Chicago as well as Evanston, Lincolnwood and Skokie. Neighborhood Choir members audition as early as 3rd grade and many continue into high school.

At the Neighborhood Choir level, boys and girls learn proper vocal technique, music reading and sight singing skills, as well as the discipline of singing with musicality, movement, and expression. Singers are offered numerous performance opportunities to exhibit the diverse repertoire reflecting the multicultural mission of Chicago Children’s Choir.

The Rogers Park Neighborhood Choir was featured in a concert entitled "The Young, Talented and Stellar" which took place at the St. James Cathedral in Chicago, and peformed at Millenium Park and in "Canto Latino" this past spring.
