Chief Strategy Officer, Invisible Wounds Foundation
Bob has been involved with numerous nonprofit organizations as a board member, university foundation chair and president, and technology service provider. He currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer for the Invisible Wounds Foundation; board member and Treasurer of the Richard L. Duchossois Memorial Foundation; board member and past Chairman of Uniting Voices Chicago (formerly the Chicago Children’s Choir); trustee and campaign chair of the Morton Arboretum; a Partner in Social Venture Partners; and a member of the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business Executive Cabinet. Bob served as a Trustee, Campaign Co-Chair, and Chairman of the Board of the University of Cincinnati Foundation, and Interim President of the Foundation. His charitable fund supports many not-for-profit organizations.
Bob retired as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Board member of The Duchossois Group, a $3 billion privately held company holding interests in a diversified portfolio of companies. Prior to Duchossois, he was Vice President of Global Business Strategy for Cummins Inc., the world leading manufacturer of diesel engines and power generation solutions. More recently, Bob founded ALUMinate, dedicated to providing automated data discovery, data analytics, identity resolution, and constituent data management services to leading universities and colleges. He serves, and has served on corporate boards including Churchill Downs Incorporated (Nasdaq: CHDN), Panduit Inc., Affinaquest, and numerous technology and early-stage companies. He is the founder and Managing Member of Limerick Investments, which invests in education and healthcare tech startups. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Economic Club of Chicago, and is a frequent lecturer focusing on organizational governance, strategic planning, and philanthropy. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business, and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Commercial Science degree by the University.
