Jacqueline Griesdorn M.Ed., Ph.D, MS Child Development resides in Lincoln Park with her two daughters Audrey (Lab Senior), and Gretchen (Lab Junior) and husband Kevin Matzke. Jackie has been working in Education for over 25 years. Jackie has worked in the Learning Sciences at Northwestern University as Research Assistant Professor and Jackie taught students of all ages from Graduate education to Junior Kindergarten. Most recently she completed a MS in Early Childhood Development with a bilingual specialization from The Erikson Institute. Jackie spent several years over the last decade teaching in PreK and K in a variety of Schools in Chicago. Jackie is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chicago Public Library Foundation, a Play for All Advocate, a supporter of the Global Fund for Children. Jackie is passionate about the rights of children. Jackie enjoys traveling with her family, plays competitive Paddle, loves nature, art, writing and cooking and has taught Sunday School at St. Chrysostom’s Church for the past 17 years.
