Voice of Chicago

Voice of Chicago is CCC’s most advanced ensemble, empowering high-schoolers across the city through an extensive performance schedule that includes touring and collaborations with Chicago’s finest cultural institutions.

Members of this ensemble have toured more than 25 countries on five continents and performed for international leaders, such as former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former South African President Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama. Additionally, they have collaborated with the likes of Yo Yo Ma, Luciano Pavarotti, Chance the Rapper, the Eagles, Andrea Bocelli and Bobby McFerrin.

About Voice of Chicago Rehearsals

Voice of Chicago rehearses twice a week (Tuesdays and Saturdays) and incorporate musicianship throughout the month. Groups will be assigned to create an optimum learning experience and may change throughout the year.

Note: Rehearsal times may occasionally be extended and are subject to change. Wednesday rehearsals may be added, as needed. Rehearsals will end 5-10 minutes early to allow for transition and air exchange between groups, as needed.

Rehearsal Schedule

Tuesday

All Call: 5-7pm

Saturday

All Call: 10am-12pm

Encore: 1-2:30pm (as needed)

Groove: 2:30-4pm (as needed)

*Rehearsals may be added on Wednesday as needed
